I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ Smile .

Field Entrance Empty Field Entrance

Post by Guest 2008-11-25, 14:11

A post on another thread prompted me to post this. Our farmer doesn't like being told what he can do on his field and we must endeavour to keep him a happy bunny.

Would everyone remember that when parking in the gate area not to block it. We must leave room for him to drive onto the field. Not only does he use his Land Rover, he has also been known to tow the cattle truck on, so the space for him to drive through must be big enough. He does come to the field weekends, as well as during the week.

Also the Environment Agency also have right of access onto the field. I met the area inspector on the field a couple of weeks ago. He was inspecting the stream. They do dredge the stream at least once a year and use a very big machine cheers
