Thursday Night - 21st May.

Just had a look at the forecast again (for what it is worth) and the weather is looking good for a thursday evening session! I'm hoping to maiden my resurrected Flip400 now with added, er, removed tail! There may be slight issues with getting teh CG position right, and the amount of up trim needed for level flight, so it's going to make for some interesting viewing!

I've now got two re-maidens to take care of on Thursday. The first is as above. The second is a certain little Komet, which now has added Fire up its backside!

I'm hoping to get some motors re-loaded with Andy's secret smoke formula too

We are definately go for a Komet with a Rocket up it's rear though I prepped some motors this morning (removed the ejection charged, and plugged the ends) You can't beat the smell of black powder at 7am

My rex has flown and man its was great , with thanks to Dave S for the set up and test flight

Im absolutly in love with flying again, nothing to mad just stall turns and 540`s with abit of pitch pumping in true me style,

In other news Andy kept us entertained all night

Well what an evening, Tugs with nothing to tow Powered gliders with no tail
Germanic jet assisted aircraft Electric fly aways and yes Marks Nitro600 did fly.
No thanks needed Mark, the grin on your face said it all

Sorry no pics of this evenings activities but if my 70s style video camera allows I may have a vid to post after the weekend.

I`me off to the South Coast for the weekend so happy landings and I hope the weather is kind.
