I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Re: 2.4ghz transmitter wanted...
I have a spare Spectrum DX7 in full working order that does not get any use. The antenna hinge is broken so I've used heat shrink to re-enforced it. I use a lipo on mine so always charge it using a balance charger, I still have the box somewhere! £95 you are welcome to check it out before commeting to buying.
OR
Alternatively look at the BMFA web site, there is a guy selling his with a box for £95
(Boxed SPEKTRUM DX7 Mode 2 with Manual and Charger.
Very little use no wear marks, well looked after.Very minor scuff on the back,No marks at all on the front or screen.
Perfect working order with no bent or damaged switches.
Any questions please call 07768 772902.
Many thanks
Richard."

I've got a multiplex evo12 tx for sale in the very near future. Comes with a 12 channel spektrum rf module (2.4Ghz). To be honest it is waaaaaaay overkill for what you need, and I'd be after about £250 for it. PLus, I'm not sure I would want to sell it to anyone in our club, and lose my status as "that weird bloke who likes odd radios".....
Seriously though, get either a Spektrum or Futaba mid range set (Like Zaids dx7). Everyone knows how they work so can help programming it, and they are cheap as chips.
