John,

Pulse code modulation (PCM)

There must be loads of 2nd hand futaba recievers in the club since a lot have gone 2.4, stick a post up in the classified asking for one, you can get the JR RS70 7 channel synthisied reciever for about £30 brand new no crystals just push a button & it picks up the signal from the tranny & locks onto it, I bought one 2nd hand for £15

I must be going or already gone mad I was thinking you wanted a reciever but it turns out your looking for a transmitter, correct.

JR PCM S or Z & Futaba PCM are not the same so will not work together.

If you get a JR tansmitter then you must have a JR PCM S OR Z reciever

If you get a Futaba PCM transmitter the you must have a Futaba PCM reciever, unless it's a high end transmitter this will be PCM 1024

JR PPM & Futaba PPM are interchangable as long as you use a crystal in the reciever to match the make of the tramsmitter.
