I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Just had a flight in the garden and its blooming easy to fly. The wind hardly does anything to it.
7 mins flight the battery came down with 51% left from a Hyperion 1600 pack.
Andy what size packs do you use in yours?

Re: Gaui 330xs quad incoming.
I've been using a mix of 2150mAh 3s packs and 3000mAh 3s packs. I've been mucking about with the low voltage alarm settings on the Naza (it's a bit funky how they are configured), and I haven't measured a flight time yet. I'll do it on Sat though, as it would be useful to set a timer on my Tx just in case....
Has the Gaui got various flying modes that you can choose, or just the one?

Re: Gaui 330xs quad incoming.
There's 2 flying modes, one called cruise and the other is hover. It seems fairly agile with the gain set low.
I've just done a 10 min flight and it had 33% left so not too bad. I've got some old flight power 2200's I'm gonna try. I thought they'd be too heavy but if you're using up to 3000's then they should be fine.
Hey mark, are you gonna build one?

It's only a matter of time before he does, I reckon....
The Naza contoller has two modes too (Unless you have the GPS version, which has 3). Attitude hold, which is like a stabilised mode that returns to a hover when you let go fo the sticks, and manual mode, which is akin to flying a normal heli. Attitude is normally used for idiots like me, and Aerial photography. Manual mode is used for idiots like me that want to wreck their quad trying to do aerobatics and sport flying.
GPS mode holds a GPS position when you let go of the sticks, which is kinda cool....
