I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Saturday 9th May
This is a trick post! Get yourselves over to our "Sister" club, Delyn, on Saturday for the 3DRC fly-in. If you want to fly, it's a brilliant day to strut your stuff in front of everyone. If you want to watch, then there will be some world class pilots there (me included ha haa!)!
The weather forecast is looking pretty good too, so that's a Brucey bonus too
Cheers
Andy

Re: Saturday 9th May
Sorry didnt make it this year - domestic chains held me in all morning, serves me right for being up the Prme all day yesterday ( which incidentally Mr Sayle you were upposed to attend and missed a cracking session ) - then the weather went real pants here after lunch and I decided to keep going with the hawk build.
Well done Andy, I am assuming two things here...
1) It was the Komet cant see him with a Comet somehow ?
2) Mark is not joking.... always tricky that one

Mark isn't joking at all, and it was the Komet too
It was a pretty good day though. The weather didn't really play ball unfortunately, the strong wind seemed to put a fair few people off flying. Still, I got to see some class pilots making it look easy, and a chap with a ballistic little hotliner type model which has inspired me
Sorry about yesterday too, I got tied up with work
