I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

St Asaph Country Fayre !!
A great turn out by the club today with loads of both flying and static display stuff. Several of us had sighting flights but then as so often has happened this summer the weather played it's hand and down came the rain. I stayed till lunchtime, I hope the guys who were staying on had better luck with the weather. Here's half a dozen photos to give a flavour from this morning.

Well what can I say!
MASSIVE thank you from me to all of you that came today.
Jem, Dave M, Rich, Tim, Pete Sq, Ben, Zaidy, Roy, Brian, Andy S, Gary you all did the club proud constant and more importantly SAFE flying in all conditions, and all prepared to spend time chatting to Joe Public discussing the club and the hobby.
Event organisers are over the moon with what we did and have provisationally booked us for next year already.
Thanks you all
Mark

Re: St Asaph Country Fayre !!
Well, what can I say? I drop in on my way back from holiday thinking I would see a total washout. I arrive to see not one but two models airborne in horrible rain! Then walk over to see a looonnnggg line of models, tables and people. And that was at 3.15 - when other stalls were clearing up
Very, very, impressive! By far the biggest and best 'stall' of the event!
I was very very pleased! Well done all!

Yes, he was excellent. Thanks to Mark for being MC, and to all who were involved in whatever way, despite the rain, we all enjoyed it.

Have you seen the red one Arwel is putting together Zaidy, he's put some photos of it on Facebook. Looks even better than the yellow/green one of Andy's!
