I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ Smile .

Went down the field last night Roy, Neil, Jay & a mate of his were on the field.

Had a good chat, the field is really wet & really shouldn't be driven on at the moment.

It's the first time I've seen standing water on the actual strip in July.

Burgers were nice to.

I was there at about 4.30 ish but not another sole around so came home again. Shame about the flooding, looks like it might be a while before it dries out.

It's definitely going to take a long time to dry out I've just been up the river with the dog towards St Asaph and I've never seen the river so much in speight this time of the year. My neighboring farmer has moved his sheep flock off the riverside fields. I think there's fairly high tides at the moment which won't help either
