I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Sunday 17th
Went down to the field this afternoon but no one else there at 1.15pm but the electric fence was lying on the floor. The cattle had obviously been having a dance on the strip but not too bad. The fence posts were scattered across the field and the wire was tangled and knotted. The unit itself was working perfectly, ticking away, but then I noticed the crocodile clips were clipped onto the reels and not the fence!!!
Anyway, had a couple of good flights with the Edge to test the new canister muffler, paddled around in the mud and then left about 3pm. Still no one there!!

Re: Sunday 17th
There is absolutely no reason for those two crocodile clips to be taken off under normal flying circumstances.
Yours pissed off of Rhuddlan.

Re: Sunday 17th
I went past about 1800ish yesterday evening, all looked ok from the road cattle were outside the fence (100%), maybe someone/something this morning.
It's a shame all the work that goes into maintaining the fence & strip, I changed the battery quite recently too.
Hope it's all ok, doesn't help with the weather, limited visits take place.

I take it the committee will be investigating who is to blame for this?

We'll move the investigation to club matters

Re: Sunday 17th
Considering the amount of rain we've had recently, there's not too much damage, just the odd hoof mark at the Abergele end.
