I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ Smile .

Evening all,

I don't suppose anyone has one of them long tool thingies that is used for compacting soil, hardcore and tarmac? They are about 5 feet long, and have a heavy square plate on the end and weigh about 5kg? I'm after one for a few weeks or so, so if anyone has one they no longer want, or wouldn't mind me borrowing it for a while, I would be much obliged if you could let me know,

Hire a stick with a lump of metal on? Are you mad?! Theyonly cost about £20 new, but I thought if someone has one they don't want/need anymore, I could buy it off them, saving me a tenner or so, and gaining them a tenner or so, thus making everyone happy Smile

Plus, I don't like new tools. I like old, used tools that have been broken in, and warmed up ready for use. And, I know they work. You can never trust new tools...
