I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ Smile .

Had a good flight with the Stork today until the magic smoke escaped from the vent holes in the side of the fuz, closer inspection the motor windings have burnt on the centre wire, going to send it back to the manufacturers, rubbish these Pletenberg motors.

6,7:1 is the onbe you want, mine has been bombproof. well, almost. the impact with the Orme bent the output shaft, but that was a 12 euro part to replace!

I've got the 11L wind, and it is perfect for 6s batteries and props anywhere between 16 to 20 inch diameter, depending on what sort of power level you want to operate at. You can also use fewer or more cells, I occasionally ran my graphite on a 3s pack, same prop for a chunk of weight saved, but a big power reduction. The L version will cope better with big power though.....

Of you want to try it before you buy one, just shout, its only 4 bolts to whip mine out!
