I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Weather station
Rich, where is your windspeed sensor on the site station ? The speeds recorded seem a bit " sheltered" with the gusts we have been getting. I had a gust of 95mph here in LJ on Tuesday a.m. about 07:00. Wind took my wind vane off too so I can't tell which direction now ! Had one of 7 fence panels in the garden that were blown down fly about 90 ft ! Fortunately no damage to property. I may try one up the Orme now I know what they are capable of in gales ! Just need servos & Rx / batt. pack.

Re: Weather station
It sits 6 ft above the ridge of the house, maybe sheltered, the data only uploads every 5 mins so if there is a gust in between transmissions to the base unit it will miss it
Re: Weather station
Ta Rich , surprised about the height ! I want one anyway now that mine has broke & it gives the computer record which is great. A useful guide to local weather.
