I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ Smile .

Okay - if you read the "anyone fancy the field thread" you would have read that I have a model down/ lost somewhere towards to police helicopter station after a phenominal gust of wind at the strip.
Assuming the model is still in one piece (as much as can be expected), and all electrics are still connected. anyone know how long 2x 2300mah lipos wired in parallel would last connected to a receiver? They would have had about half charge when the model went down.
I just want to know if they would last overnight, and if its worth going out again in the morning with my tx to see if I can hear the servos buzzing somewhere - long shot I know, but surely worth a try! I could live with finding the pieces of the model, but its niggling me the fact that it is just missing!
Cheers all!

If they are only powering a receiver then they will last weeks.

If it has crash landed, and the servos are stalled, the lipo life will not be long at all... Probably irrelevant now though Wink
