I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Re: RIP Alan Hawes
Sad sad news which has left me feeling as guilty as hell as I've not been in touch with Alan or Sandra for a few years now If anyone should have written a biography it was Alan he most certainly had not wasted his time with us having led a very interesting life. For those of you who didn't know Alan here's a photo of "The Man"

Thank you Simon I will be there. Has anyone made sure that Pete Slater knows? I don't have his contact details anymore.
In deed a very talented man, world famous for his pilots, river boats in the USA and Sky Railway to name a few. His health had been failing for a few years. Now be at piece my friend, the girls send there love.

Re: RIP Alan Hawes
I have now been in contact with Pete Slater. I also need less haste and get myself a dictionary "Be at Peace my friend".
