I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Small glider plans
Anyone got - or point me in the direction of some small powered glider plans? (1 - 1.5M span (ish))
There is an inland ridge close to where I live I am just dying to bung something off!
Problem is, landing space is reasonable limited, so im looking for something small, light and powered I can get back in if soaring is a "no go! - and doesnt really matter if I never see it again - if you catch my drift!
Cheers for your help all!

Just had a thought -anyone bought models from Hobby king? was anyone shafted for import charges? I have always avoided big stuff from them as I always though trying to get a box as big as a kit through would almost certainly get the import officials sniffing around it!

Yup, the last two parcels I have had from them have attracted the dreaded charges- and one was only a few batteries and props - not a big box at all.
I think HMC are getting wise to them, and I am far less likely to use them these days. Be interesting to see how things pan out when their new UK warehouse opens later this year.

I think you should bite the bullet Stubbsy and cough up the dosh for the import tax!
After all, it goes towards funding the border control which in order to stay "PC" are looking to employ more foriegn nationals to reduce the numbers of unemplyed illegal immergrants !
But, Hey, thats just my thoughts ..............
BTW, I ordered two models last yer from the states and the tax was £25, not gonna employ many for that ............
