I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ Smile .

Hey Gary

You should be able to buy one at any decent model shop, but here's a mail order one for you:

http://www.phoenixmp.com/acatalog/Spektrum_Accessories___Spares.html

It's the second one down.

That said, and perhaps someone can confirm this, I think it is just a two core cable with a 3.5mm jack at each end (mono type, not stereo)?

Young Sam Thomas was after one of these some while ago.
I made two from Maplin bits. Suit JR and/or SPECTRUM
As Andy said, mono for JR and Spectrum (stereo seems to work OK for me either with twin core or just connect the tip and outer)

Requirements for 1 lead
2 right angle solderable plastic cased mono 3.5 mm jack plugs
1 length of high quality black pvc miniature microphone cable
Bits of heat shrink insulation for cable to plug each end and inside plug near solder contacts. Small amout of soldering.
How long ?
1.5 -2.0m but there were protests about long buddy leads on the forum.
I have found it doesn't seem to matter much at all .......

Why bother making your own ?
Each lead cost less than £3.
I noticed the web ones are £7-9 each plus £3 postage.

Or for those that prefer artf, buy one ready made up. Maplin supply them in 1.5 or 3 mtr length : -

Yes, as far as I can tell, and I've rechecked their website, it should be fine

Good luck
