I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ

Just received this via email from Paul Collins 
Hi, Deeside Model Flying Club Is holding a Fun day flyin at its Deeside site Sunday the 21st Aug. Would be great if you could let your members know.We will be having all types of aircraft on the day. It is hoped to have every type aspect of our hobby on display and flying. Our strip is flat and long so even the biggest model can be flown safely.
We would love to meet people from your club down at our field. There will be food and toilets available. Family's will be welcome. Hoping for a good day out.
Hope to see you and your members there.

Yes it was an email from I presume the secretary of the Deeside club to our email address, I merely forwarded it onto the members via the email addresses I have from the application forms, I used the blind copy option to send so as not to show everybody’s email addresses.

I went along to this flyin this morning nice to see a few other club faces there, John Barrows, Tom, Henry, George.
Ive not been there before and its a loverly site and seemed a nice club atomosphere. heck they even laid on a burger van!
Flying wise lots going on with a broad range from very nicley flown war birds to slick F3A patternships, Jets, Helis and the madness that is our 3DRC slots with myself NFJ and Rigby.
Whilst there I managed to maiden my 88" Raven now electric! went well just need to sort the balance.
Good event and defo one to visit again.
