I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Monday 20th
Well, done some fettling on my models this morning, replaced the rubber band in my Ultimate. I've a quacks appointment just after lunch then I think I'll have to force myself to go flying again, that's three days on the bounce must be summer or something

Quite a good session at the field with a fairly big turnout for a Monday. Chairman Andy maidened his petrol converted Align 700, very impressive too. The wind did a 180 round the compass in the afternoon and we ended with rain.

Re: Monday 20th
Was a nice day.Took my 700 out after a tank change and it was most lovely.
It's surprising how punchy Andy's 700 gasser is.
I'm not sure if it rained after I left but when I got home the heavens opened and there was a few rumbles of thunder.
Danny.

I'm modelling my heli flying stance on you Barnes And I was past the dumping a load Zaid, that happened when I first started the engine, and had the throttle linkage the wrong way around... Full beans on the start, nice!
I've still got a load of setting up to do, I'm not 100% happy with the tail, need to play with the gyro and gain settings a bit, and also have a tweak of the throttle/pitch curves too. It does have a real solid feel to it in the hover though, and even with the engine still running in, I was getting about 18min hovering time on 3/4 tank of petrol....
Oh, and the rain did come Danny, I didn't hear any thunder though, I was to busy listening to BoyBarnes moan about stuff....
