I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Sbach
Talking about getting the gear ready this morning and just after lunch got a landline from Jane to say the Sbach had been delivered to the castle and could I go and pick it up as it was clogging the shop Anyways got it home and unpacked it in slight trepidation as there was some damage to the outer box.Needn't have worried as everything was fine.
I have to say I was pleased with the Edge I had off Peak models before but they've stepped up the quality again, every thing's sound on this the tanks plumbed in even with a fuel dot fitted in the fus but i'll probably change the tank bung for a Dubro one. The only slight disappointment is the elevator servos are in the fus and not the stabs, aesthetically not as pleasing but in reality won't cause me any grief as the tailfeathers will be staying on.They even give you a pack of Araldite for the minimal gluing jobs required. Hope the weather stays potatoes now so I can get it built only joking

Re: Sbach
Looks good that Brian. The Elevator servos are in teh Fuselage on my Red thing too. A little annoying as it makes unpluging the stabs a pain.....

Re: Sbach
Had my tea and got second wind, fitted the gear and took it outside for a dummy run just to make sure everything fits ok, which it does. I think it's shorter coupled than anything else I've had although the looks can be deceiving with no prop and spinner fitted. The fuselage interior looks cavernous width wise compared to the other 50cc jobs I've had, not complaining it'll make life easier getting the gear in there.
Re: Sbach
All it needs now are some Andy Sayle prop covers

Re: Sbach
The Sbach's coming on a pace, all the tailfeathers are hinged and had the linkages fitted, apart from the P/P cables on the rudder, and the elevator servos are fitted. Got the engine in today, bit of a faf to get it central to the cowl which is the neatest cowl I've had to date. I haven't had to dremel the cowl at all to get the engine in. I think all I'll have to do is a very small aperture for the plug cap and an exit for the hot air

Re: Sbach
What size prop are you going to be running Brian, and do you have any preference on the fabric for your complimentary "Prop-Socks"?!
Seriously though, if you want a set of wingbags doing, let me know.
Cheers
