I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Orme today 12/5/2011
Had a good session at the Orme today, good lift but a little showery, it was overcast so no decent flying shots, just this one of Jem and Zaid trying to get Zaid's Luna plumbed into his new trannie. As Zaid was on at tight schedule timewise this was not achieved and wisely in my view he decided not to maiden the Luna today. Hopefully it will get it's maiden flight tomorrow

It'll fly like a dream I would imagine, just think what it was like when you first maidened your helicopter Zaidy, you'll love it once it's in the air

Thanks for the post/ photo Brian.
Fingers crossed for tomorrow. Just got back from the garage and I finally figured out the cause and how to resolve it
Rich I really can't wait to maiden it as I have had it for 10 weeks ( between jobs) ad Jeremy has been really great with the build and the support.

Just a quick update, went to the Orme today with Jem and Denis Tan, we had a great morning flying and I managed to maiden my Luna and Denis Maiden his Luna too. Then we were joined by Tim and Marty and the day just got better what great fun we had.
It started to rain around 1630 we all packed up and were getting ready to leave then the rain stopped and the day just got even better. What a great laugh was had by all.
Few photos
Denis Tan Maiden-ing his Luna
Then we all called it a night as the weather was coming around 1830.....

When are you coming up the Orme with us ???
Re: Orme today 12/5/2011
Some us went today and some of us actually flew.
There were of course others present who wore skirts and nazi helmets that forgot their transmitters, and despite being lent a spare DX6i, and rebinding their model etc....still wouldnt even walk to the slopes edge.
Tut, I dunno, these softy southern bikers eh
