I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Orme today
We had a good session on the Orme today lift a bit scratchy and patchy but at least we had a fly
Re: Orme today
Yep it was a good day despite the variable lift. Here are a few photographs.
John had a good time despite a lack of up elevator on one of his models!!
Jem was in fine catching form
Whilst Timbo parked the Eagle and had a sleep
3 men on the edge (of reason?)
Johns Zagi
Think this is Rons type escaoes me.

Re: Orme today
Yep there was plenty of fun..... marred for me somewhat by John taking a rather nasty whack from his own Zagi ( under my "control" ) following a rather fine combat coming together between the two of us ! Right good clatter it was, unfortunately, it stalled both models dead, JBs wildthing fell to earth pretty quick and the Zagi hurtled back and whacked poor old John in the neck - and took off the entire aerial mast of his shiny DX7.
Anyway, thank the lord he was only winded and shocked more than anything, and both models "landed" in one piece with no damage.
Dont worry JB I will fix the Tx up, I am sure I have a spare aerial here somewhere. Was a timely reminder that combat - although great fun - does come with a health warning

Some nice pictures there chaps. Yet again pesky work got in the way of me getting up there. I really need to sort out some flexible working hours.....

Fully recovered thanks
Yes we enjoyed an excellent day and yes thanks I have fully recovered from my Zagi attack! I was warned about Tim but he seemed such a nice chap that I was lulled into a sense of false security.
Dave sargent is getting a bit too good at this photography lark and took a nice picture for Brian & myself to celebrate over 50 years of flying model aircraft together so here it is together with some shots of my own from the day.
Cheers
John
