I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ Smile .

After poor full throttle performance on my ZDZ 80 in the Sukhoi yesterday (early season gremlins) i pulled the engine out of the airframe this morning and stripped the carb right down. I found a large amount of rust at the bottom of the high speed needle which obviously indicates some water/condensation got in their over the winter and corroded the tip of the needle and caused a blockage. It was good to find something wrong anyway. All back together now apart from the cowl which I'll re-fit after I've run it up and tuned the needles. Won't be till next weekend now though. Wink
