I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ Smile .

Brent and Myself went to the Great Orme expecting to face a car park full ! But only us and two other cars were there ! and NO one else gliding

The wind was 25 mph and gusting to 30 or more had a couple of flights each and it was getting dark :-( the lunch was very interesting !!!!!!

I think there is a do on down the Llyn this weekend that's why the Orme wasn't jammed with foreigners.

What was special about the "LUNCH" then

I don't know whether there's a sloping event on down the Lleyn but the power flying event has been cancelled but may be on again next weekend.

well, its sooooo windy you have to use both hands to launch, by the time you let go the tranny is around your back, needless to say it took few attempts to lunch, I damaged the aerial on my tranny as well during one of the launches !! but we had a great time.
The Bedlam flew really well and the Zaggi well it flew well too but very very twitchy. All in all it was a good hour or so, until we lost day light :-)
