I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Sunday Feb 22nd
Looks like the Orme again today, hefty breeze in Rhuddlan, not impossible for power but not comfortable
Re: Sunday Feb 22nd
Not so many at the Orme today just myself the Rolls Royce duo (Richie and Roy) and Dave Sargent from R&DMFC and some more locals. Wind according to Richie's anomometer was around 23 mph but the lift was a little scatchy compared to yesterday nonetheless we had a good time the glass models coping better than the foamy jobs with conditions, Richie's 4metre job going particularly well. Dave Sargent was busy with his camera and at one stage was foced down the slope by Richie's low passes, hopefully some of the photies will get posted later A big thanks to R&R for helping me through my slope apprentiship
Sunday on the Orme
As Brian says, the lift was not as good as Saturday and not a wind direction I have flown in a lot. There was however lift to be had and the lightweight combat wings had a good time as did my Bedlam and a variety of gliders. Star of the day has to be Richie`s 4m job which flew superbly.

What? You have an Ego? No way!!!!
It looks like you guys had a good session up there yesterday. I spent the day with my head stuck firmly in the clouds walking up Carnedd Llewelyn, across Carnedd Daffyd, and down Pen yr Ole Wen. It was wet, very windy, and cold, but bloody good fun!
Roll on Summer, and sloping without thermal gear on...
Cheers

Yes it will be nice to get up the Orme not looking like Nanook of the North but it sure beats staying at home. Talking to Ron yesterday he said he remembers Dave Sargent when he was just a corporal
