I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ Smile .

Ive just discovered the greatest tool ever. Ive always hated trying to bevel the control serfaces on my depron shokkies, it drives me mad, ive tried sharpe blades, free hand sanding, scoring etc etc but tonight i came up with this whislt adding some tri stock to a repaire im doing.

Simply glue to peices of tri stock together this like this, and you get an overlap thats 45*

Add a peice of fine sand paper to the small overlap and celotape to the bigger overlap

and walla

the Cellotape give it a nice smooth finish to the edge that will move across the depron and the sandpaper bevels the hing line.

Bring on the super smooth masive throw Twisted Evil

Maybe not that groundbreaking to some but for me this is a god send!

With a thread title called the "Greatest Tool Ever", I honestly thought this was going to be all about you Wink

Seriously though, it's a nice way to acheive an even bevel. I have used something broadly similar, but with a razor blade held at an angle, and with bits of wood glued at the right place to set the depth. Worked well on really light balsa, but a bit rubbish on foam. I'll give the sandpaper a try though Smile
