I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ Smile .

Yeah, My thoughts exactly. Just trying to source them now, I can find 6" but 4" would be better.
With luck, (& if it's flyable my binary should make it's debut on Thursday).

I'll chuck it for you. My discus launches have been known to structurally test several models to the point of destruction....

Don't steal my thunder 23 mins is a long time for anyone to keep it up, Blaster is a more capable model in the right hands, I can't see how we as club flying would want to pay another £50 for the V3 IMHO

It is a fair chunk of money for the v3 Blaster. I think the avergae pilot wouldn't notice the difference between a v2 and a v3 in terms of flying performance. The v3 does look a bit better though with a lower profile wing pylon, and a funky shaped pod/nosecone. You could pay even more if you go for the spread tow version of the B3 too.....

i've often thought about what to replace the Blaster 2 that went Bob's way with. If money was no object, I'd go with with a PCM Flow (Fireworks 5, they are a work of art!). Unfortunately money is an object, so I'm making do with the little uns for the time being....

Andy

PS. Rich, I've got my sights set on the 23 minute record this year.....

That;s from a single hand launch, no relaunching allowed too. 23 minutes is pretty good going (don't tell Rich that though, it will go to his head!) actually, I was bloomin impressed with myself when I got an 11 minute flight from a single chuck.

Have you built that Binary of yours yet Gary? When can we expect to see it at the field?
