I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Isn't it annoying....
When you get halfway through building a new kit, and you find that some parts are missing from the accessory packs that came with it.......

MPX Funcub. Missing the connectors to link the control horns to the control linkages. Also missing the rudder horn, and the flap connectors to fit in the special horns they use. Methinks the kit has been raided for spare parts at some point. Shop says I need to go to MPX direct....

Re: Isn't it annoying....
Steve Webb's and North West Models at Wigan have had to accept that the customers pilfer the kits.
Yes very frustrating, you can't finish the damn thing because some twit stole the parts.
It's just as bad if you take stuff to a swap meeting. Things walk whilst you are busy with someone else.
Had the same problem at various model do's when operating the BMFA/SMAE saleable goods stall. Even the so called helpers were taking the stuff.

I personally think the shop is soley responsible for seeling the kit as complete. They therefore should rectify the issue.

I'll give them chance to sort it out first John, it might be a case of name and thank them for putting things right

Re: Isn't it annoying....
Just an update to this, after god knows how long, TJD Models (the shop where the kit came from) have basically stopped answering my email requests/phone message enquiring when they were planning to replace the missing bits.
Luckily MPX germany have sent out the missing items within 4 days of me contacting them

Re: Isn't it annoying....
I sent a savox servo back to them in August still waiting, very good at taking your money, however when you ask for service they blame the supplier
Re: Isn't it annoying....
If I hadn't started building the kit, I would have sent it back to them, and got the credit card company involved... Live and learn though, their keen pricing obviously comes at a cost...

The shop/supplier whom you bought the kit from are responsible if there are parts missing END OF.
Just tell them you will contact a well known television programme who will expose them and Im sure that will get a response.
