I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Re: My new toy :D
My flying was cut short by the fact that 2 otof the 3 bengine mout bolts that attatch the mount to the fuz dissapeared in my last flight of the day with the cougar, so I gave the elf a whirl... haha

Oh dear sorry to hear that
I've checked my kit
The 3 engine mount screws are 3mm x 15 mm long cross head mushroom head and fit the captive nuts in the bulkhead.
You could use 3mm socket head screws that might make secure tightening easier.
You need to put a blob of locktite on the threads as you fit and tighten them up. DON'T Overtighten, you will simply damage the bulkhead. If you use longer screws, mind you don't allow them to stick out and puncture the tank.
You did fuel proof the tank bay ?????
Maplin at Llandudno stock small packs of these screws
The 4 engine mount bolts are 4-40 (slightly smaller than 3mm and courser thread) and 3/4 inch long. The supplied stiffnuts should be still there, so these won't need replacing.

Oh thanks for that Paul, I think we are off to Llandudno anyways tomorrow to see my nain, so on the way back Il ask to stop in to maplins to get some!
No paul I didnt, does it really need to be done?
My fuz is as dry as a bone and I have a Exhaust deflector on it so it is angled even futher downwards away.

Sam
The tanks inevitably leak, usually at the neck seal.
If you fuel proof the area inside, I use solarlac clear, then if you do get a leak, the wood doesn't get soaked in greasy yuk. You just pour it out and the problem goes away !
You've set me off now, I think it's time I got mine ready.
I also seal the film edges where they ovrlap with the lacquer too. They aren't perfect you know.

Another reason to fly as God* intended, and use electrickery instead of fuel
