I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Yup lol, it rather bisarly rolled violently to the left whilst on a wide open pass, It was pretty badly squached but being EPO i tryed the boiling water trick and to both mine and Leighs amasment it regained its shape within secounds!
So its all back in one peice all servos working corectly and RX changed!

Re: Wednesday 28.7.10
it's not the receiver it's the transmitter or maybe the person transmitting the signal to the transmitter
Re: Wednesday 28.7.10
Must say I have 6 of these in various models now, and never had single glitch.
The only spekky Rx I have ever had an issue with was a parkfly range 6100e and that was down to aerial orientation - now cured by positioning the Rx aerial in slightly different orientation in the model.

Re: Wednesday 28.7.10
Lol all very funney!
Just got back in and maybe it wasnt the RX after all, we powered up the beast and there seems to be an internitant fault with the Ali Servo! Problem solved
Anyway better news for the Hunter MK2, its had its maiden in some pretty ruff wind. Leigh did the honers with the handlaunch as I couldnt be bothered to take all the strip down.
Flew well once trimed and seems abit faster than the last one (although it has the exact same fan and motor?) Landing was a breeze using the gear and full flap (again the old one didnt seem to like flap to much?)
Short vid to follow!

Re: Wednesday 28.7.10
Is the centre of gravity in exaclty the same position? You might find that has a bigger effect on the handling (and top speed) of an aircraft, than a minor change to the design.....
Looks good though. I like the shape of the hunter. If only there was one that would suit a 90mm fan, and have room for about 1.2 litres of paraffin aboard.....
