I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Yep yet another ZDZ 80 bit the dust in my Sukhoi this afternoon, it turned out the butterfly screw had worked loose in the carb (peened in at the Walbro factory) and was then ingested by the engine. I managed to cut the motor fairly quickly when hearing the rattle but the damage occurs in milliseconds. On getting home after stripping the motor at the field I've been up in my loft and I reckon I've got enough spares to rebuild it at no cost so I'm in for a busy morning tomorrow

Well It was a fun night.
Tims 'cheap and chearfull' hobby king rx decided it didnt want to play nice anymore, It didnt even go into failsafe mode and just yanked it into a sort of snap roll and sent it into a dive. Battery was fine and it wasent the Tx playing up again as I range tested and flew the cougar without a hitch after the breese went down. all repairable

Tupperware Fasst, it's the future
Me and the little 'un have been sat looking out of the hospital window this evening, looking over towards the field. Saw the odd plane or two as well. She wasn't overly impressed, although the small gurgling sound could be a sign of excitement
