I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ

Probably before then - as Thursday is my birthday - and I will probably be elsewhere

Looks really good that Tim/Marty. I'm dead keen to see this go. If you aren't going to be at the clubnight on thursday, make sure you bring it with you for the weekend. It's supposed to be an aerotow/glider weekend, but I figured if you power the motor off in flight for a short while, it's un-powered and therefore a glider, right?

Re: Something "Fishy" here
I am afraid I am likely to be at the PSSA all weekend - another clash of RDMFC with other local events
Not sure about Thursday - its me b'day and the missus may have something planned.

Nice one John
Tim, I'm not going to be offended if you shun the local club, to attend an event that is for allcomers and Randoms from around the country
Seriously though, could you put an advert out for RDMFC whilst you are at the PSSA event? Just a few choice reminders that if anyone fancies a go at aerotowing (or rather, being aerotowed) we have an event on too. It wouldn't do the club any harm and all that

Re: Something "Fishy" here
One of two main PSSA gurus ( Simon Cocker ) is already aware of it, and is also somewhat disappointed that the events clash - as he told me earlier in the year that he would have attended our do ( as he has in the past ).

Re: Something "Fishy" here
Morning Andy. Phil Cooke ( now the main organiser since Alan Head's sad demise ) usually tries to set the years events around December for the following year and always asks if there are any events locally that may clash - such as last year the 3rd and final event clashed with the Lleyn fly-in weekend. This years events calendar was set in early January this year.
Ill be sure to let you know as soon as next years are set, although to be fair, anyone can follow PSSA happenings HERE

PS heres the review from the last event - I have been asked to do the next one this weekend also so am afraid I am sort of obliged to be there.

Re: Something "Fishy" here
Ah I see, cheers Tim. Much appreciated
So technically, the PSSA chose to clash with us, as we set our Aerotow date in December and announced it on the 23rd Dec
