Spring Fun Weekend - May 29/30th

Afternoon all,

Just to get a bit of interest going, I thought it would be an idea to mention the planned "Spring Fun Weekend" that is coming up shortly. It is due to take place on the weekend of the 29th and 30th May, all day. The idea was that by allocating a whole weekend, we are bound to catch some decent weather in the process!

We haven't got a lot planned as yet, other than having a good barbeque on both days, weather permitting. We are hoping to have a few informal competitions and a raffle going too, that will be unveiled shortly. We are on the lookout for prizes for these competitions, so if you fancy donating anything, just let one of the committee know. Likewise, if you have any friends in the trade, give them a nudge

Colin is a prospective new member, He has visited the feild at the last (poorley atended yet again) club night at the field.

As for the crash i would imagine his helicopter, Location unknown

nah didnt bother mate, got roped into taking the kids to blue plannet.

Anyway back on track.

I wont be about Saturday as we have a party to go to in Warington but Sunday i will be there, I will have a cherub 2 channel gilder with me for some climb and glide antics for anyone to have a crack at, and posibly my first toffee drop trials

yeah I'm the new guy, yet to become a member but won't be long, 450 heli was the crash in question only had it a couple of months, was sliding round on the carpet USING NEW SHINY PING PONG BALLS! in the studio when it found my computer desk!!

Just got some setting up to do, and double checking, and I should have my Jet all setup on the Buddy lead for the weekend Anyone who wants a go, is more than welcome to, on the proviso they put a couple of quid in pot towards the club

I'll also have my big glider on the lead, and if you trust your eyesite, my little pylin racer too

Im not gonna be there that early on a sunday morning!!!
Probably early afternoon 1-2ish!
If I lived by myslef I would be there at the crack of dawn, sadly I have to wait for my taxi drivers to wake up and have lunch!

I'll be there tomorrow morning bright and early too. It looks like the weather might be a bit better first thing (less wind). Had a good couple of flights with the Funjet this afternoon, and I think I have managed to trim it out so it flies straight.....

I was looking into airbrushing before, but for car bodies.
I have got a BIG air compressor for painting real cars, doubt that would work with an airbrush tbh

All you need is a decent little pressure regulator, and the compressor can be as big as you like. I use a 2hp, 50 litre one....
