Reporting from the field again, and the weather is fantastic! Sunny with the odd cloud coming through. It's quite cool though, and the wind is, er, rather windy! I'd guess about 20mph?

Just had the first flight of the day, which was interesting. The highlight was seeing a buzzard flying past us, backwards.... It seems the wind has pocked up a bit, and is rather gusty too....

And the wind is picking up even more! I'm going to call it a morning and pop back this afternoon if the wind drops. At the moment, the only thing that will fly forwards, is a pylon racer, and I dread to think what the downwind legs would be like!

You probably did John, I must have left just before you got there. The wind has put most people off I think, so kitinig is probably the best idea for today!

I'm hoping the wind dies down this afternoon, but looking put of the window, it hasn't yet.

JB and I went to the slope soaring open day at Moel Famau - sorry but 'twas certainly a glider day lads !
Met Bob Gadsy making his weary way up the hill as we were coming down - he had been to the Orme earlier, and said it was good up there also.
