I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

A day for the air beaters today, As i arived Bob G was having his first of 3 with his Loverly Centry Predetor Gasser,
I bolted fly my Blade first and flew the Flash then it was time to try the Blade 2 flights later I had here doing the first stall turns and fast foward curcits very impressed untill my first ever Auto (forced) only minor scrapes.
Bod G then had terible luck with his Pred but all in all not to bad
Then Dad arived with his new 450 heli and had a play with that
Great weather and great company
Where the hell were the rest of you lol

Re: 24/1/09 Saturday
Hmmm. Methinks I should have reversed the days this weekend. Was hoping to go flying tomorrow (looks like no joy though looking at the forecast!). Been out mountain biking this morning, Tennis this afternoon, and work this evening
Cheers

Really nice break in the weather yesterday afternoon, wind dropped right down...wondered where everyone was?
Right about the muddy conditions though Rich, the strip is abit gooey, not suitable for anything heavy.
The soft conditions did me a favour though as Mark mentioned had a mishap with the heli when the rotor blades decided to stop turning they don`t glide very well do they?, He recovered it for me and extracted it from about 6" of mud!!! guess it will be a while before its up and running again, have still to check it over
Hey, on the bright side, the evenings are drawing out .
Looks a lovely piece of kit that Bri, which reminds me..Anyone for the Orme today?..lovely S/SW blowing.
