I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ Smile .

This popped up on 3drc courtesy of Andy at Leeds Model shop. Very interesting video looks similar to the one Merseyside Police got busted for. A lot cheaper but still 1150 Euros http://vimeo.com/6194911

I wonder how many li-po cells he is using to give 6 brushless motors that much power?

Set the GPS,fly to that location, take your pictures and return to base. Fantastic piece of kit
In a few years we will have them watching EVERYTHING we do.

Oh I dont expect very many at all TBH - they look fairly small motors, so in total, probably consuming no more than about 30 - 40A. Probably running the lot off a 3s or 4s pack.

Amazing model...er....flying machine
The control system must be something else.
It flew so far away he couldn't possibly see the orientation and yet it still behaved itself. Even used onboard GPS to return home
Yes I liked that.
Had problems with vimeo on the pc until I loaded the correct update of flash player. (Info on vimeo web page)
