I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ Smile .

I've been following a long build thread over on Flying Giants. This guys building a 50% scale Pitts Python, not so unusual in itself, the unusual bit is he's scaled it by projecting images of the full size onto a wall in his house and working from them. He's also using a combination of unusual materials ie hardwood aluminium and building foam and wherever possible totally replicating the full size. It's a long thread but here's a couple of photos just to give you the gist of it. First one shows his projection method with him stood in front to give scale

Karl's pressed on with this a bit here's a couple of pics, this last week he's spent most of his time vacuum bagging his own two piece cowl the bottom half not out of the bag yet
