I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Would I need a mixer for a zagi?
Would I need a Mixer unit if I had a zagi or similar to make it work???
I know I would need 2 servos, the airframe itself, a receiver and transmitter. Anything else???
Thanks Barney

MOST transmitters ....even the very basic DX5e have an elevon mix selectable. If barney goes for a S/H 35Mhz set...then again, most of the sets over the last ten years or so have this.

I'll second that, can't waste an opp to dig the kack handers who are incidently mode two(2) wanabies
Re: Would I need a mixer for a zagi?
Thanks for that.
I shouldn't need a mixer then which is good.
I'm probably going to go for mode 2 although it did feel quite natural on mode 1. Hmmmm!

Re: Would I need a mixer for a zagi?
Like I said earlier in the topic there is a mixed bag of insructors that are more than willing to help you, whichever mode you choose, when you decide to buy a transmitter make sure you ask for the mode you want, either mode 1 or mode 2 some transmitters are interchangeable & some are not.
Re: Would I need a mixer for a zagi?
One thing to bear in mind when choosing your mode, is what do all your mates use? IF they are all mode 1, and you use mode 2, you'll find it rather difficult to blag a go of their models!
