I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Sunday Jan 4th sloping on the Orme
Got to to the Orme and Rich gave my Fox it's maiden (should it be vixen) went well but too much elevator was the testpilots report so made a few adjustments on the trannie and then the rains descended on us and stopped play for while no probs as plenty of flasks were present, even I had one which Rich remarked as being a first Eventually the weather relented but the wind had veered north and reduced a little, I launched the Fox for Rich again the plan was for him to check out the elevator and then pass the trannie over to me but then the wind dropped the Fox was landed out and it was game over for the day
All in all a good day out plenty of locals up there myself, Rich, Roy Barnes, Tim Mackey, Jem Mathews, Mats Akesson with who I later found out was his eldest son on a visit from Sweden and loads of other guys locals and visitors who sadly I can't at the moment put names to. Really good craic as the boys from Ireland say

Indeed it wasnt.... it was none other than Steve Dorling's - he has, I believe, sent Jeremy an invoice for the glue
