I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Re: Dream Models (planes and helis only)
I like the way you have added (PLanes and Helis only) to the title. It's almost as if you read my mind!
I'm going to have to think about this though, but for starters:
1/2.5 scale ME163, jet powered, with a kick ass smoke system onboard.

Been my favorite since I got the 'Eagle book of model aircraft' back in 1959. Its shown as a plane for a C/L model useing a 1.5 cc diesel engine. Still got the original book.

Re: Dream Models (planes and helis only)
For aerobatics I would like either a Krill Yak 55 in Race 2009 scheme with DA 170 or a H9 Ultimate with a good set of internal cans fitted DA 150 or for a total change I like this
Would make a fantastic tug or floatplane

Re: Dream Models (planes and helis only)
Sorry its not an aircraft or helicopter but I would love one of these. No idea what to put it in but I could sit and look at it for hours.
Its around $4500 from Conley Precision models in the states. This one is the supercharged version. He also does a Model T hot rod to put it in for around $9500.00 all in.
Have ca look at http://www.conleyprecision.com/

Mine is the weird but stunning Gee Bee with a Moki 400cc Radial.
See it testing the engine : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kYrL-eGEOUY&feature=response_watch
and see it fly: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SeSDahp3Okk&feature=related
Something for a true petrol head with SAE40 running in the veins.

Not to worry, Brian. It is the 'good' cholesterol, full of Omega 3 so it is really good for you.

Mats, that Moki 400 sounds awsome. Imagine 3 going round the pylons together

Re: Dream Models (planes and helis only)
Imagine three of them going round a pylon, and quite literally being together. The crunch would be rather impressive!
I've just thought of another model that is on my "one day" list, is a large scale Hawk. I know they are fairly common, but they are such a nice little aircraft...

Re: Dream Models (planes and helis only)
my dream model, after very careful thought. One with a ground sensor fitted.

Re: Dream Models (planes and helis only)
Pretty much all models have a ground sensor built in. The problem is that they are a sensor that is only good for one use. What you need is a "reusable" ground sensor!

Re: Dream Models (planes and helis only)
How about a 30% one of these:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DqASQtVlVHU&feature=related
Saw the full size one perform at Barton back in the 80's, very impressive for its size and power.
