I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

New toy!!!
Well I havent actualy got it yet =(
Its a honey bee cp3 helicopter, its my first single rotor heli, and I have been told that the honey bee series are good single rotor begginer heil's
As mine is collective pitch, Will I need a pitch gauge or should I trust the factory settings?
I wont be going into idle up for a while, And I think The majority of its flights will be in the sports hall next year!
It is BRUSHED! with a tail motor!!!!
I know it sounds bad but I dont want anything to complicated or fancy to learn forward flight on!
I have been flying my coax for a while now and I have been ooohing and ahhinag about getting a single rotor heli, and now I have!
I have training feet ready here too!!!
Is there anything i should watch out for or tips on collective pitch?
Thanks

PS Im not planning to use this heli for 3d past the loop or roll when I can actualy use idle up!!!

Re: New toy!!!
Nice one sam, many people have learned on one of the honeybee models.
If it's collective pitch I would check it with a pitch gauge just to make sure there isn't too much negative pitch because if there is too much and you need to land quickly it will come down a bit quickly.
If you are popping to the indoor on sunday I can bring you a pitch gauge with me so we can check it for you.
Some training undercarriage is worth using for your first few hovers as it gives you a bit of a wider landing gear area.
Danny.
