I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Boxing Day
This year i was all set to mis my boxing day ritual of getting to the feild, Alas Leigh came round and talked me out of it
We went down about 12ish and spent a cold hour there flying his Overlander Extra 260, There was a harsh easterly wind that made our ears tinggle but we did it!
Last flight of 2008????? not bloody likley

Re: Boxing Day
I did think about it today Mark always like to get out Boxing Day if poss but went out to get some logs in this morning and as you say there was a biting easterly so gave it a miss. Have been for a good walk this afternoon though to burn off some Christmas calories. Glad to see you young guns keeping club traditions alive, here's a picture of Rich and Lester on a Boxing Day jaunt a few years back and I think your dad Roy was behind the lens
