I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

As there is some interest in aircombat - here you have main rules.
Each country makes some little changes like - limiting weight of motor, width of fusselage, time etc...
If you have any questions - please ask - will do my best to help.
ESA- Electric Simple Aircombat
AIRCOMBAT WWII ELEKTRO RULES (Based on Polish version)
1. The model
The model must be a scale or semi scale A/C of a warbird built between 1935 and 1945.
If a plane was a prototype only, the original must be flown in term of years ’35- ’45, minimum production 50 planes.
Wingspan
single-engine:
700 – 860 mm
multi-engine:
700- 1000 mm
All other dimension are result form scale calculate with +/- 3cm deviation.
Built materials are all kind of foams: EPP, styro, styrodur, depron
Any wing hardenes (of LE) are not allowed (no materials like carbon, fiberglass, wood ect)
Entire plane must be built using “soft” materials
Bents, cuts and sandpaper at LE, are forbidden, using any tape catchers materials (no paste, no glue) are also forbidden.
LE must stay clear!
2. Engines: any AC or DC
3. Power source:
Single-engine
Akku max 3 cels Lipo or 8 cels NIMH , NICD max capacity 1350mAh
Multi-engine
max capacity 2500mAh (having In mind cels number)
akkus max 2 cells Lipo for one engine 1800mAh
4. props free-forms, factory made
5. Model weight
Single-engine
min 200g max 380g
Multi-engine
max 550g
6. Tape
Length 10m, 1cm wide made from crepped paper
Mark on the end.
7. Contest site
Flight area
Safety line must be made before competition start.

All safety rules are the same like in Aircombat WWII regulations
8. Flights
Flights are performed according to Aircombat WWII rules
Flight time should be fixed before first flight, and can be set from 5 to7 min.
No model changes are allowed. Model change is allowed in next flight. Unlimited quantity of models allowed
Akku changing during fight is forbidden.
It is allowed to take up model during fight, main judge permission required, and signal to other contestants must be given.
9. Points:No-engagement - 50pkt
Safety line crossing– 150pkt
Tape saving + 50pkt
Crashes 0
Cut + 100pkt
Every 3sek. of airborne +1pkt

So now just count the points and prepare for competition
It's not his cup of tea, but didn't complain and made few comments later and even asked few questions about all flying stuff - anyway - we had some father-son trip so was worth to go
