I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Sunday 4th October
Just a few snaps from this afternoons flying down at the field.
Brian's Hangar 9 Sukoi in Knife Edge flight whilst practising IMAC schedules.
Andy's Turbine in flight.....
....And on Finals
A pleasant afternoons flying, once the rain had subsided.

Great afternoons flying with one exception. Can we please move that great big green box off the strip it leapt out at me again today and I hit it. Only damage was a pair of wings bolts luckily. First time ever I have had these do their job and shear. Or maybee I just stuck the wing plate in well this time.

Blimey Mike, you chose them shots carefully to remove all traces of cloud!
Had a good afternoon today, 6 litres of paraffin up in flames, and some brilliantly slow cruising around with my MiniMag as the sun set The wind dropped away to pretty much zero, and the clouds all disappeared!

Have you finished your bobcat then Leigh? Just wondering when to expect a maiden? My engine has gone in for a checkover at Wren, and I'm trying to find a machine shop that will give me some sensible prices on some landing gear struts, and some "special" retract unit components
