I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Sunday 6th September
Dawned the day and in Eglwysbach there was zero wind. Little did I know that it was all at the Rhyl field.
Anyway all those that turned up flew and braved the changable conditions until right on cue it rained at 16.00hrs just as the web predicted:!:
Flew my S300 on floats until the manifold fractured then the motor fell off my Flash whilst filming with the Sky Cam The Wipeout delta lost a prop mid air and so ended my day.
Great fun all the same
Have a giggle at-

Re: Sunday 6th September
I love that video Dave, cracking stuff
I had a good day on Sunday too, nice and relaxed! For a change I enjoyed just hooning around with the battered and almost worn out Funjet. Sometimes the cheapy toys just the ticket for getting out of a rut
The turnout wasn't too bad considering too. I'm not sure if a lot of people were put off by the wind, and promise of rain later on, but not to worry! ANyone think it is worth running it again next year? Or just consign it to the "needs work" pile?

PS. The edit button was removed after some forum members were stirring things up, then editing posts to make themselves look all innocent. I'm trying to figure out how to allow post edits for up to 20 min or so, but not got there yet.... I may give the edit button back if you promise to behave....
