I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Well boys I have been away for less than 24 hrs ! and from what I read in the forum (amount of input) the weather must have been bad But its okay I am back now and brought the good weather with me
Its a club night BBQ night
Will bring rolls and burgers and sausages and Dave is bringing all the tools , just want to get an idea of who is turning up ?
SO WHO IS TURNING UP
Will be there from around 1633

Re: Thursday 2 July
Indeed, it was an excellent BBQ, Roll on next week!
For those that didn't hang around too long, the wind dropped to almost zero at about 8.30pm, and it was fantastic weather for buzzing about with lightweight foamies, and chucking the DLG's around!
Cheers

Re: Thursday 2 July
Thanks for the feedback guys. Glad you enjoyed it. We went through 28 rolls and I am glad to report that we broke even on the cost with a small surplus towards the next one.
Do we have a volenteer for next week If so let me know and I will pass on the float.
The flying was great too even though I am still recovering from my very near miss when the T Rex got away from me. I am told it looked spectacular but I assure you from where I was standing it was just frightening. A real brown trouser job I can tell you.
You will be glad to know that Zaids T Rex is well on its way to recovery after its brush with terra firma and as Arnie would say "I`ll be back"
Regards
