I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Free security for derelict buildings and a place to fly
Free security
Just a thought, has anyone made a letter or contacted ownership of Derelict buildings, Locations or un-used property that may be good for RC flying?
I understand how trespassing in a derelict building due to danger of any injury and clam can be a worry. However on another note if a building is being used in some way it puts off others from damaging it moving in and using it for other bad things.
In other words they are getting free security by letting someone use it with a disclaimer to the owner in case of on sight injury.
It’s a win win for both sides.
I wish more would take this into consideration before taking action.
What do you want someone who just wants to fly safe in a contained space or someone who wants to vandalise something and when finished the building has to be costly removed/repaired.
Free security for......
Unused Land
Derelict Buildings
Farm Land
Closed Car Parks
And many other Locations
May be worth thinking of a default letter sent to all locations local that may be good locations to fly asking.
We may get consent for a cheep or free new flying location in bad weather.
