I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Up the Orme with the axn
Greetings everyone had a trip up the orme the other day with the axn floater
Thought I would have a go slope soaring it a bit windy but other flyers were there to give some assistance. Finally plucked up the courage and with a launch from a rhyl flyer was up and away a landing to sort out the elevator and off again.
Thanks for the tips and trimming I don,t know your names and pretty bad at remembering my own but now am totally addicted to going off a slope without motor up there again this morning as day off with the wife and 3 year old son as that's the only way I can get permission from the good lady to fly today. Not much wind today but I find with the orme . whatever the forecast says you can double the wind speed on the orme. Still very much a learner self taught and self crashed trying to figure out how to roll the aircraft at the moment loops no problem.

Re: Up the Orme with the axn
Hi Alan,
I am even more of a newbie than you.
I shall be there this evening to learn what I can from others, all of whom have been unbelievably helpful.
Not yet completed my first 'plane but coming along slowly!
All the best with your 'learning curve'.
Ken.

The only helpful one is me - that Jem Mathews fella is a right plonker who is blind and can barely fly himself, let alone tell others what to do.
Dont listen to a word he tells you, its all lies

And if he asks "how fast will it go in a dive?" Ignore him....

Well, a great little fly! Maidened the new Vulcan with Tim's help. Though he did set the trims all wonky!
