I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Immersion RC Xugong v2 Pro
Ocer the past couple of weeks ive been putting together and sorting my new aerial picture taking device. The Imersion RC Xugong v2.
While not as cool as the phantoms and large multirotors infesting the club the Xugong has a place. Its a 450 size frame with a bit of a part peice.
Folds up to the size of a 250mm frame
Thanks to Andy S and his magic 3d printer ive been able to mount my Walkera gimbal
The Xugong come complete with iOSD and gopro charge/interface cable and video switch so you can flight betwen a fpv cam and the gopro while in flight.
Using 4s4000mah ive been getting 11mins flying during my testflights and been very impressed with the setup

There is 2 bolt holes to bolt through. The cable ties aloud for quick back to back comparisons as we were not sure the vertical mount was required.

Having seen it in the flesh, I don't think the upper stabiliser is needed really. It was printed in case the gimbal suffered from nodding in flight. Normally the gimbal is suspended under the damping plate. In this application it is hanging in front....

First proper test of the gimbal yesterday no real edit just cut some bits out, few jurks in the flying to test things, still some gains work to be done but for 1000 pound less than a phantom 4 im pretty impressed.
