Anyone done the free upgrade yet, I got thee offer this morning when I lit up the desktop top with some trepidation hit the go button. The update took around 45 mins start to finish and it's running smooth as a baby's bum.

my laptop is updating now and Ive got 7 work computers awaiting the upload

There's a few things that need turning off in the privacy settings unless you want Microsoft to know every time you sneeze.

Yeah ive seen some of them on the forums. My main concern at the moment is that our data loggers are still compatable as they use 3rd party drivers which apparently it doesnt like to much.

Guess I will find out a bit later

All my software seems AOK at the moment no hitches so far fingers crossed.

Lots of one-drive files missing, 2 yr old network hp printer not found, "edge" is pants, and worst of all it wont give me access to excel docs which I made 10 years ago and edit every day - twas all fine from win98 thro to 8.1. Grr.
Still liked xp pro the best of all

that boads well for my updates, may wait till tomorrow before I do the desktops so it doesnt dely my field trip this evening
