I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ Smile .

Date: 29th May 2009
Location: R&DMFC club field
Weather: 7mph wind, pleasantly warm, 20% cloud cover
Temperature: warm enough for shorts.

Picture the scene. The MPX Fox glider had been converted to use a small rocket motor for motive power. Thinking back to last summer when we first attempted it, the design and calculations couldn't possibly be wrong this time? Could they? Using a Rocket motor to boost the RC converted MPX Fox couldn't possibly go wrong a second time round.....

EDIT: just noticed Youtube are still processing the video. Give it a few minutes for them to finish, and the quality should be outstanding!

There is always hope Leigh Twisted Evil

I'm partway through some slight modifications to the MK2 Rocket Fox. They should result in an MK3 version that has got LOTS of potential! Keep tuned for more news as it unfolds (or rather, folds, then crashes and burns!)....

Cheers
